Feature of Hard Chrome plating

When the coating of single-layer hard chromium plating reaches the required thickness, it has better corrosion resistance. However, when the thickness of chromium coating reaches more than 65μm, further increase of thickness will not further improve its corrosion resistance. Generally speaking, the plating time has a great influence on the thickness of the hard chromium layer, and the choice of plating time depends on the main salt concentration of the plating solution, temperature, current and other process conditions.
